Rating for motorhomes: well signposted within the city limits, one of two municipal parking areas designated for motorhomes, right next to the district court, secure parking experience, free and sufficiently clean restrooms, pay attention to the signs due to temporary use by the city, circuses, etc. Currently, the signage indicated that it was closed, but this wasn't the case; the signs are sometimes rotated to suit the needs, and the circus only required half a space. If in doubt, ask at the district court or observe the local cars... Since the court staff also parked there, it's probably fine. It's just a short walk from there to Altötting's central square... and the parking is free. Where else can you find that? Hopefully, it will be here for a long time; thanks to the city.

Huge free parking lot. Charging stations for electric cars are even available. Great and highly recommended.
